The Colorlight Z4 Super Controller combines LED sending, video processing and splicing for rental and fixed LED displays. This DP-input version supports video sources up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz and drives up to 2.3 million pixels through four Gigabit Ethernet outputs.

Video sources and picture-in-picture
Connect HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort or two SDI sources, then scale the input image for the LED screen. HDMI and DVI include loop connections. Picture-in-picture provides an adjustable secondary image, with control over its size and position. An HDMI monitoring output is available for viewing the output.
The controller provides brightness and chromaticity adjustment, color-gamut transformation and improved grayscale at low brightness. Its front panel includes an LCD, adjustment knob, source selection and screen controls.

Screen layout and system setup
Keep the screen within both the total 2.3-million-pixel capacity and the width/height limits. The 4,096-pixel width and height limits do not imply support for a 4096 × 4096 screen. Input resolution is also a separate limit: this model is specified for up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz.
Use the linked manual for receiving-card setup, screen configuration and controller operation. Before ordering, check the source connectors and cabinet configuration for the intended LED display.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Colorlight Z4 a 4K-input controller?
