The Colorlight X6 combines video processing and LED sending in a 1U controller. Six Gigabit Ethernet outputs drive up to 3.9 million pixels, while HDMI, DVI and SDI connections accept HD sources. Three adjustable pictures allow multiple inputs to be arranged on the LED screen.
HD source selection and image control
The X6 has one HDMI input, two DVI inputs and one SDI input. HDMI and DVI support resolutions up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz; the SDI connection accepts 3G-SDI, HD-SDI and SD-SDI. Source switching and scaling let the input image be fitted to the display.
Operators can adjust brightness, chromaticity, contrast, tone and saturation. The controller also supports improved grayscale at low brightness. For audio, the dedicated input is used with an optional multifunction card.

Check screen capacity before ordering
Count the pixels in the full LED wall and check its width and height. A layout must fit the 3.9-million-pixel capacity as well as the 8,192-pixel width and 4,096-pixel height limits. Those maximum dimensions are not a supported 8192 × 4096 total screen resolution.
Match the source timing to the input limits, plan the three-picture layout, and confirm whether the installation needs the optional audio multifunction card. USB IN is for configuration; the six RJ45 display outputs carry the LED data.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many Ethernet outputs does the Colorlight X6 have?
The X6 V1.2 specification confirms six RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet outputs, numbered Port 1 through Port 6.
What is the maximum LED screen capacity of the X6?
The total capacity is 3.9 million pixels. Maximum width is 8,192 pixels and maximum height is 4,096 pixels; the total pixel limit still applies.
Does the X6 support 4K input?
The specified HDMI and DVI input limit is 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz. This X6 should not be selected on the assumption that it accepts a 4K input signal.
Can the X6 display multiple sources?
Yes. It supports three-picture display with adjustable image position and size, along with source switching and scaling.
What is required to use the X6 audio input?
The audio input is used with an optional multifunction card, according to V1.2. Confirm that accessory for the intended system before ordering.
