Colorlight S2 LED Panel Sending Box
The Colorlight S2 sending box connects a DVI video source to LED receiving cards through two Gigabit Ethernet outputs. It accepts an input resolution of up to 1920 × 1200 and provides approximately 1.31 million pixels of LED loading capacity. This product is the enclosed AC-powered sending box.
Configuration, audio and screen control
Dual USB ports support PC configuration and cascading. The audio input supports synchronized audio transmission over the Ethernet cable. Brightness and chromaticity adjustment, improved grayscale at low brightness, DVI interface detection and Ethernet cable fault detection help with screen setup and maintenance.
The front panel provides 16-level whole-screen brightness adjustment and screen test modes. The specification also lists a real-time clock, simultaneous control of differently sized screens and background playback in extended mode. Colorlight receiving cards and multifunction cards are supported.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the Colorlight S2 sending box have an HDMI input?
The sending box documented here has a DVI video input. Its specification does not list a dedicated HDMI input.
Can the S2 drive a 1920 × 1200 LED screen?
1920 × 1200 is the input resolution limit. The LED loading area is 1280 × 1024 pixels or equivalent area, approximately 1.31 million pixels, so input resolution must not be confused with output capacity.
How many LED pixels can each S2 port control?
Each of the two Ethernet ports supports 1280 × 512 pixels or equivalent area. The controller has a maximum screen width or height of 2560 pixels within its loading limits.
Does the S2 sending box support audio?
Yes. It has an audio input and supports synchronized audio transmission over the Ethernet cable.
How is the S2 sending box powered and configured?
The enclosed box accepts AC 100–240 V and is rated at 15 W. USB connects it to a PC for configuration, while the second USB port supports cascading.
