NovaPro UHD Jr All-in-One 4K LED Controller
The NovaStar NovaPro UHD Jr combines video processing and LED sending for stages, conferences, exhibitions and rental screens. It provides eight physical video inputs and three composition layers: one main layer and two picture-in-picture layers. Eight input connections do not mean eight simultaneous display layers.

| HDMI / DP at 10-bit or 12-bit | RGB and YCbCr 4:4:4: 3840 × 1080 @ 60 Hz; YCbCr 4:2:2: 3840 × 2160 @ 60 Hz |
| 12G-SDI input | Up to 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz |
| Monitor output | Dedicated HDMI monitor; up to 1920 × 1080 @ 60 Hz |
Input Modes and Optical-Port Mapping
HDMI and DP do not support YCbCr 4:2:0 or interlaced inputs. DVI operates as four single-link inputs by default; in dual-link mode, DVI 1 and 3 are used and DVI 2 and 4 are unavailable. The DVI connector description gives up to 2048 × 1152 @ 60 Hz per single-link input, while the video-format table lists 1920 × 1080 @ 60 Hz; check the applicable format before configuration.
OPT1 carries Ethernet ports 1–8 and OPT2 carries ports 9–16. OPT3 and OPT4 copy or back up OPT1 and OPT2. These backup ports do not double independent screen capacity. Up to four controllers can form an image mosaic with a video distributor; HDMI LOOP itself supports only one level of cascading.
HDR, 3D and Low-Latency Conditions
The V1.2.0 manual supports HDR10 input and states that HDR halves output capacity. Its HDR section names A8s/A10s receiving cards. Enabling 3D also halves device output capacity, with the manual describing EMT200 and 3D glasses.
The retained documents specify a two-frame delay from sending card to receiving card with supported Armor-series cards, and limit each Ethernet port’s loading width to 512 pixels in low-latency mode. The specification names A8/A8s/A9s/A10s Plus; the manual names A8/A8s/A9s/A10s. Confirm the receiving-card combination against the installed system.
Original Listing and Specification Differences
The earlier listing states 8,300,000 pixels and zero-frame latency. The retained V1.2.0 documents instead state up to 10,400,000 pixels and the two-frame condition above. These values are distinguished here rather than combined into a single promise.
| Parameter | Specification |

| Dimensions | Original listing: 482.6 × 396.0 × 139.0 mm; V1.2.0: 482.6 × 395.5 × 139.0 mm |
| Net weight | 6.3 kg |
| Operating temperature | Original listing: −10°C to +50°C; V1.2.0: 0°C to +45°C |
| Storage temperature | Original listing: −30°C to +70°C; V1.2.0: −10°C to +60°C |

V-Can control, EDID management, source capture for image backgrounds, full-screen/pixel-to-pixel/custom scaling and ten presets support setup. Use the linked manual and quick-start guide for the complete operating sequence.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many layers can NovaPro UHD Jr display?
V1.2.0 supports three layers: one main layer and two PIPs, with adjustable priority. The eight physical video inputs are source connections, not eight display layers.
Is its capacity 8.3 million or 10.4 million pixels?
The earlier listing states 8.3 million. The retained V1.2.0 specification states up to 10.4 million, with lower per-port limits for 10-bit/12-bit sources and mode-dependent reductions.
Do HDR and 3D affect loading capacity?
Yes. The V1.2.0 manual states that enabling HDR halves output capacity and that enabling 3D also halves device capacity. Its HDR input support is HDR10.
Does NovaPro UHD Jr provide zero-frame latency?
The retained V1.2.0 documents specify two frames from sending card to receiving card with supported Armor cards, plus a maximum 512-pixel loading width per Ethernet port in low-latency mode. The older zero-frame claim is not supported by these documents.
Do the four optical ports provide four separate full-capacity outputs?
No. OPT1 and OPT2 carry the two groups of eight Ethernet channels. OPT3 and OPT4 provide copy or hot backup for those groups.
