Colorlight VX20 LED Video Processor
The Colorlight VX20 combines video processing and LED display control for stage rentals, performances and exhibitions. It supports up to 13.1 million pixels, with Ethernet and optical outputs, three-layer 4K processing and preview/program workflows. Select video processor, fiber optic transceiver or Bypass mode to match the installation.

Source Connections and Show Control
HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.2 and 12G-SDI provide 4K input options, alongside HDMI 1.4 connections for supported HD sources. Loop outputs help distribute signals. Scaling, cropping, overlay opacity and fade transitions support layouts that combine presentation, camera and background content.

Plan the Display and Monitoring Layout
Input resolution, output pixel capacity and output color depth describe different parts of the signal path. Check all three when designing an LED wall. Maximum width and height are individual limits, and the configured screen still needs to fit within the total loading capacity.
The VX20 supports HDR, BKG, OSD and logo display, as well as Multiviewer monitoring. Confirm source timings and the selected working mode before configuring the preview and program layout.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many Ethernet outputs does the VX20 have?
The Colorlight VX20 provides twenty Gigabit Ethernet outputs, alongside four 10G optical ports. Fiber1/2 provide primary outputs, while Fiber3/4 copy or back them up. Its specified maximum total loading capacity is 13.1 million pixels.
Does the VX20 support three 4K layers?
Yes. The product specification lists three simultaneous layers at 4K resolution, with scaling, cropping and Picture-in-Picture layouts. Check supported source timings for your configuration.
Does 12-bit input mean 12-bit LED output?
No. The VX20 lists 8/10/12-bit video input and 8/10-bit video output. Select an output format supported by the receiving system.
Can I use preview and program views?
Yes. Canvas views include PVW & PGM and PGM Only, and the device supports Multiviewer monitoring. Plan the monitoring connection and layout for the chosen working mode.
What operating modes does the VX20 provide?
It provides video processor, fiber optic transceiver and Bypass modes. Choose the mode according to whether the system needs video processing, optical transmission or a bypass signal path.
