Colorlight K5+ LED Receiving Card
The Colorlight K5+ is a compact receiving card for fine-pitch LED displays and rental cabinets. It supports 8-bit video input and up to 32 parallel or 32 serial data groups. Its loading area depends on the driver chip: the V4.2.1 specification lists 512 × 384 pixels with PWM chips, 512 × 256 with normal chips and 512 × 324 with Shixin chips.
Display adjustment and cabinet maintenance
Per-pixel brightness and chromaticity calibration, color-temperature adjustment and improved grayscale at low brightness support image setup. The feature list also includes 240 Hz frame-rate support, screen rotation, highlight OSD and data-group offset. Check the loading and frame-rate combination for the actual module design.
The K5+ supports up to eight intelligent modules, fast firmware upgrades and rapid calibration-coefficient delivery. Cabinet temperature, humidity, voltage and power monitoring depend on the relevant cabinet design and supporting hardware. Loop redundancy, dual receiving-card hot backup, PSU redundancy and firmware backup/readback support system maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many pixels can a Colorlight K5+ control?
V4.2.1 specifies 512 × 384 pixels with PWM driver chips, 512 × 256 with normal chips, or 512 × 324 with Shixin chips. Use the value that matches the module driver.
What voltage does the K5+ require?
The V4.2.1 equipment specifications list DC 3.8–5.5 V, 0.5 A, with rated power of 2.5 W.
Does the K5+ support 240 Hz video?
The feature list includes 240 Hz frame-rate support. Confirm the supported loading at the required frame rate for the selected module and driver chip.
How does dual receiving-card backup work?
Two receiving cards connect to the HUB board to control one cabinet. The specification describes the backup card taking over if the main receiving card becomes abnormal. This requires the corresponding hardware and wiring.
Can the K5+ monitor cabinet temperature and power?
Yes. Cabinet temperature, humidity, voltage and power monitoring are supported with the appropriate cabinet design and supporting hardware. The monitoring functions should be checked during system configuration.
