The Colorlight X20m is a 4K LED video controller with a 13.10-million-pixel loading capacity. It provides 20 Gigabit Ethernet outputs and four 10G optical ports arranged as two active and two standby connections. HDMI 2.0 and DP 1.2 accept input up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz.
Ethernet output or optical transmission
Select either Ethernet or optical output: the two modes cannot operate simultaneously. The primary FIBER 1 and FIBER 2 outputs correspond to Ethernet ports 1–10 and 11–20, with a matching pair of backup optical ports. Compatible 10G single-mode optical modules are listed as a separate purchase in the specification.
Window layouts, playback and presets
The X20m supports up to six windows with one layer per window, depending on the input combination. With two 4K input signals, only two windows can be opened. Move, scale and crop windows to fit the layout, with a minimum window or crop size of 64 × 64 pixels.
USB playback handles photos and videos, and 128 scene presets can be saved and recalled. Brightness and color temperature adjustments are supported. Precision color management requires a suitable receiving card; 3D is purchased separately, and OSD is optional.
