The Colorlight X16E is a 4K LED video controller with 16 Gigabit Ethernet outputs and a maximum loading capacity of 10.48 million pixels. It accepts HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 sources up to 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz, alongside HDMI 1.4 and DVI inputs for HD sources.
Multi-window video processing
Display up to six windows and adjust their position and size to suit the screen layout. The X16E supports source switching, cropping, splicing, scaling and video synchronization, plus precise color management, display-gamut adjustment, brightness and color-temperature controls.
Audio, control and compatibility
Separate audio input and output connections are provided. Audio from HDMI and DP sources can be extracted and output to the sound system. Control options include LAN, a handheld-terminal app and RS232.
The supplied V1.1 specification marks 3D as optional. It lists HDCP support for the HD interfaces, with HDCP 1.4 specified for HDMI 1.4 and DVI; it does not state HDCP support for the 4K interfaces.
