Colorlight X16 4K LED Display Controller
The Colorlight X16 processes HDMI, DVI and SDI video sources and sends LED display data through 16 Gigabit Ethernet outputs. It supports 8.88 million pixels, 4K HDMI input and seven-picture layouts for installations that need several sources on one screen.
Source switching, scaling and synchronization
Switch between video sources and splice or scale the input images to fit the LED screen. Each of the seven pictures has adjustable size and position. Genlock input and loop output provide synchronization connections, while brightness and chromaticity controls help adjust the displayed image. The V1.0 specification also lists HDCP 2.2 support and improved grayscale performance at low brightness.
Use LAN for network control, USB IN for PC configuration and USB OUT to cascade another controller.
Standard and customized input boards
The standard X16 input-board configuration is one HDMI 2.0 plus four DVI inputs; the controller also has two 3G-SDI inputs. The specification separately lists X16B with eight DVI inputs and X16C with two HDMI 2.0 inputs as customized configurations. These alternatives should not be assumed to be installed in the standard X16.
