Choose the right output mode
In splicing mode, the two outputs carry different portions of one image. Copy mode sends the same picture to both outputs, while monitoring mode provides a display feed and a local monitoring feed. The 2.6-million-pixel copy-mode figure and 2560 × 1536 splicing limit apply to different modes.
The U2 supports fade-in/fade-out switching, image scaling and LED color balancing. Confirm the audio connections and any installed sending cards for the supplied unit before building the signal chain.
Engineering lock and operation
The engineering lock can restrict operation after a configured usage period. When locked, the unit has no output until the unlock code is entered. Keep this setting in mind when preparing the processor for a rental or scheduled installation.
