Output routing and display control
EDID management helps configure supported source timings. Flexible cable routing and redundant network ports support installation planning. The KBS2000 also lists calibration-data delivery, spherical mapping and 3D display functions; verify the required receiving cards, firmware and accessories for the selected workflow.
Frequently asked questions
Does the KBS2000 accept a 4K 60 Hz source?
Yes. Its HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.2 inputs support a maximum resolution of 4096 × 2160 at 60 Hz. Input resolution and total LED output capacity are separate specifications.
How many network and optical outputs are available?
The KBS2000 has 20 Gigabit Ethernet outputs and four optical outputs, arranged as two primary and two backup optical paths.
Is the total capacity 20 times a per-port limit?
Use the stated whole-unit limit of 8.85 million pixels when planning the LED screen. The number of physical output ports does not increase this total.
Can it be controlled and cascaded from a computer?
PC communication is supported through USB Type-B or Gigabit Ethernet. Gigabit Ethernet supports cascade control, and HDMI loop-through is also listed.
Does it support 3D display?
Yes. The specification states that enabling 3D halves the loading capacity and requires a 3D transmitter and 3D glasses. Confirm the receiver configuration and firmware before installation.
