Colorlight OP4 Fiber Optic Transceiver
The Colorlight OP4 converts between optical and electrical signals in an LED display control system. It provides two 2.5 Gb/s optical ports and four 1 Gb/s RJ45 Ethernet ports. The standard single-mode, dual-core LC optical module is specified for a 2 km transmission distance.
Connecting an LED control system over fiber
The OP4 can be used as a pair or with a compatible master controller that has an optical output. Its adaptive bidirectional operation supports optical-to-electrical and electrical-to-optical conversion. No driver installation or device settings are required, and hot swapping is supported.
