Using the Seven Measurements
PM2.5 and PM10 are collected simultaneously, while the light module uses a photosensitive probe. The combined measurements allow a monitoring system to collect ambient conditions through a single transmitter. Match the host device to the Modbus RTU communication settings in the specification.
The V4.2 specification confirms the temperature and humidity ranges and DC supply values shown above. Measurement ranges describe the sensing limits; refer to the installation instructions when selecting a mounting position.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which seven elements does the HD-S70 measure?
It measures temperature, humidity, noise, PM2.5, PM10, atmospheric pressure and light intensity.
What power supply does the S70 require?
The V4.2 specification lists a 10–30 V DC supply and maximum power consumption of 0.8 W for RS485 output.
Does it communicate using Modbus RTU?
Yes. It uses Modbus RTU over RS485, with a listed communication distance of up to 2000 m.
What are the temperature and humidity ranges?
The V4.2 specification lists −40°C to +120°C for temperature and 0–99% RH for humidity.
What are the particulate and light measurement ranges?
PM2.5 and PM10 are measured over 0–1000 µg/m³ with 1 µg/m³ resolution. The light intensity range is 0–200000 lux.
